People questioned me why suffer a 10-hour bus ride from Singapore to Penang when you could take a flight for about the same price and a lot less time.

For me, I try to avoid budget airlines and airport security clearance when there are other options. The last time I checked, the cheapest air ticket from Singapore to Penang includes a stop at Kuala Lumpur.
